Chinese New Year 2010 Part III: The Hardwork

Section I: The Cleaning Process

Alright, finally today me and my parents went all out to clean the house, collecting all kind of junks and trashes ranging from a piece of useless paper to a worn out printer. Yup, there are a lot of changes at our house today. Even the PS2 had moved to downstair instead of staying in my brother's room. Well, too bad. All the junks are stacked together like a mountain and squeezed everything into my father's car to bring to my grandparent's home for selling purposes.

Clean but I have not fulfilled my task yet. Here's a conversation:
* Dad's phone rang *
Dad: Hello?
2nd Bro: Hello!~! (with his usual excited voice) Is the mahjong cleaned yet?
Me & Dad: o_0

HOLY #$@#% I haven't do that! And I have approximate of 5 days to do so before I got a ~~hell of a~~ beating!! So, that's basically it for now for the cleaning part. Tomorrow morning my dad's gonna hang the tanglungs so stay tuned for a picture!!

Section II: Working?!

Don't be surprised when you heard this. I worked for the past 3 days last week. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. At where you ask? At Star Engravers. For those who didn't know, AKA my dad's shop. My dad sells medals, trophy and all kinds of things including engravings stuffs! So, I'm there to help my dad to work as he need to clear off some massive orders he got so that he can close the shop for CNY.

Alright, all I do in the shop is ~~listening to the radio~~ fixing the medals(put on the "rope" like thing that is blue, red, white in colour), ~~listening to Hitz.fm's Gotcha Calls~~ pasting wordings on the medals and etc. It sounded easy at first but for a beginner, it might take almost 10 minutes to do 3 medals(first, second and third). But after 3 days of training, I can do it faster like 3~5minutes per 3 medals. However, my mom is extraordinary, I finish 3 medals, she finished almost 6 or 9 medals o_o Talked about experience though.

Anyways, my dad begins with around 4 orders from different school. They are massive orders and when I say massive doesn't mean it's around 100 pieces of medals. Shockingly (to you guys), it's more around approximation of 350 pieces. Yup, that's a lot of work!~

With me and my mom(my dad did other minor orders), we managed to cut down the massive orders to half. Tomorrow we have to finished 300 medals before 6pm and Tuesday we have to finish around 100 medals. After that, merdeka!! Can wait for CNY already! Gotta work hard!

Section III: Driving Exams

Just did my Pra test today, I passed but it's not satisfying enough. I got 17/20 points for Road test. 16 is the passing marks so you can say that I nearly fail!~ Sigh~~ Kinda disappointing but at least I do not need to sit for the Pra test again! My JPJ exam is 22nd February, which is after CNY. Wish me luck!~

Section IV: Pineapple Tarts

Mmm... Due to time constrain, my mom only managed to make 2 delicious treats for this year's CNY, mainly peanut treat and pineapple tarts. My favorite treat among all, Pineapple Tarts!!! Love 'em!

Section V: Epilogue

It's getting late. Around 12:30am now. Better go to bed cause tomorrow have to wake up early. Part 3 is short, sorry bout that! See ya!

Chinese New Year 2010 Part II : The Off Topics

Section I: Feng Shui

It's quite sad to found out that there are no comments on any of my post in this blog. Pretty sad~ Anyways, let me try to recall the first part. The first part features SOME of the necessities for Chinese New Year. I won't be wasting my time to do the recaps. You want to know the details, please read yourself. =) Onto the second part, the Off Topics.

As you can see, every 大扫除 in CNY might lead to a significant change in our house such as changing the position of tables etc. Well, we do believe in feng shui. (I'm doing advertisement for Lilian Too xD)

Feng shui~

So, we believe in the twist of fate that brought about us when we changed the positions of the objects or buying a bunch of ornaments that BELIEVE to bring good fortune... etc. And... My house undergoes a big change of fong sui this year and hoping for more prosperity to come. Alright, me and my parents only managed to change the feng shui of the back living room of our house but I know there are more to come. If requested I might post a photo or two BUT only if requested.

Section II: CNY Preparation's Report

Oh next, my second bro AKA yi kor (二哥 in Cantonese) gave me some task before his return to KL yesterday. Here it is:
-> Clear his room.
-> Paint outside of the house.
-> Clean mahjong tiles.
-> Clear a big table at the back living room
-> Optionally, paint his room
-> Take care of Zalera (o_0)

More and more work to do before CNY.

Section III: Driving Lessons/Tests

Alright, next about cars, if I am not wrong, tomorrow(Tuesday) will be my last driving lesson before Pra Test. I'm a little nervous and hope I can end it soon enough so that I do not worry about driving lessons and stuff but instead drive with my own free will, provided I have a car. Last time I kept delay driving lessons until become 1 week once. After being lectured by my uncle, I decided to cramp everything together and end it as soon as possible. Like Torgal of The Last Remnant said:

"You merely delay the inevitable."

Well, kinda true if you ask me. So, I hope to end my driving quickly!

Section IV: Animes

Not much to talk about in this section. You can only say that I kinda rushing through my Gintama as it's bloody funny! Once I finished Gintama, I might go for Toradora or something like that. My aim is to "Finish Gintama before CNY" 2 weeks left!

Section V: Games

Ok, I got not much games to play either. I'm kinda stuck at Last Remnant and waiting for Tok to lend me his Star Ocean: Till the End of Time for the PS2 Console. Fred is giving me the maple setups for the private server he is playing called, ZakuraMS. As for PSP, I got two new games thanks to both Ming and Ding Hang.

Fieldrunner, a tower-defense typed mini game introduced by Ding Hang. It's quite good but once you reach Level 100 and looked at the time. You might say, "HOLY S**T, 1 hour just passed?!" A typical TD game can make you addict for 1 hour per day and not more...

Next up, an old,bored,plain game had revived it's game and extend it with various new functions. Phantasy Star Portable 2 that Ming gave me serves me just fine even though it's in Japanese.

I sincerely said that the second PSP is so much better than the first one. It has a lot extensions and upgrades that enhances the game to it's maximum caps. Some examples are:
-> Dodge roll and guard
-> No more PP recharge for weapons, instead it acts like MP but recharges very fast
-> Gun's charged skill and no more bullet(PP) consumption
-> Literally dropped the number of classes
-> Main Heroine, Emilia is so much cuter than Vivienne of PSP1. IMO
-> Start off with an awesome outfit
-> New dungeons with awesome graphic designs when compared with PSP1
-> Skill levels are depending on the skill book
-> Armor added
-> Movable in town/room (PSP1 is choosing icons and places you want to go)
-> Able to do gestures and sit on any place that is sit-able
-> Able to decorate rooms which I don't know what's the effect
-> Vision Phone available to unlock various unique comeo outfits
-> Comeo outfits features Miku and Fate Stay Night so far
-> XLink Kai online gameplay available
etc.

I have yet to dive into the depth of this game but I'm working on it.

Chinese New Year 2010 Part I : Interlude

Alright, CNY is around 2 or 3 weeks more and I'm currently struggling through my driving lessons. (Hope I can adept soon enough) Haven't start 大扫除 yet. Slacking, watching gintama, chatting, mousehunting, facebooking... OMG I better get my ass off and start working!

Ok, first thing about Chinese New Year that comes to our mind is none other than...

Good old Angpaos

We do not want Angpao which is empty, we want it to be filled with coloured notes ranging from RM 5 RM 10 RM 50 RM 100 but most of us would received a BLUE coloured notes but hack cares we just want MONEY

Alright remember folks, that we should also don't forget to hang up those...

Hey hey, I'm not finished yet! Mone...I mean, Angpaos, tanglongs, and also others stuff like hanging a long red cloth on the door shaped like an arch. These are things that are essential for the preparation for our One-year-once Chinese New Year!

Yup, you are forgetting something EXPLOSIVE!

Firecrackers are for entertainment nowadays HOWEVER... Anyways, if you want play firecrackers, play safe, don't even think of eating a 彩雷王 and lit it. Your friend will definately say

Anime Spreeeee!!! CNY Preparation!

Wow! It is almost 2 months since SPM. How I spend my time you ask? Well, you guys might all think that I am gaming all the time. Guess you are wrong there! I am on an anime SPREEEEEEEEE!!! Yup, in deep love with animes now!

Currently I am addicted to Gintama and chasing the episodes to the latest one. For me, Gintama is a legendary comedy anime! It is seriously funny and on top of that, it has almost 200 episodes which means you have a long laugh throughout this anime!

A short synopsis about Gintama:
"Sakata Gintoki is a samurai living in an era when samurais are no longer needed. To add to his troubles, oppressive aliens have moved in to invade. Gintoki lives with Kagura and Shinpachi, taking on odd jobs to make the world a better place...and to pay their rent. (Source: ANN)"

I recently just finished a few animes, one of them is Needless. Your 1st impression about Needless might not be that good. However, IMO Needless pulls off a great start with minimum actions and funny scenes that might pull off your day! It's a great action anime I watched so far! Believe it or not, I finished this anime(total of 24 episodes) in 1 day. From 8am until almost 6pm. If you have nothing to do, you should check out Needless!!!

A short synopsis:
"The year is 2130. After the third world war, large contaminated areas known as "Blackspots" formed all over Japan. Large walls were used to quarantine off these Blackspots. In time, signs of inhabitance appeared within these wastelands. Among the survivors who had been abandoned inside the Blackspots, labeled as "those who were unneeded", came forth possessors of uncanny abilities -- Fire, wind, brute strength...they were defined by their supernatural abilities. Others, fearful of their powers, expelled them and named them Needless.

Not into action? Fill your holidays with comedy + school life anime! Cat lovers would die to watch this anime! Nyan-Koi is another great comedy anime but does not par with Gintama due to the number of episodes(12 only). I hope there's a second season. Nyan-Koi pulls off a great 1st episode with ROFL scenes that might make your day! (For me!) It's another must watch one if you are free!

A short synopsis:
"Junpei Kousaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizou-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family's own ill-tempered cat, Nyamusas. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into a cat himself.

Another action anime that is said to be good, great, marvelous. However, IMO this anime does not par with Needless AT ALL! It's a good anime for me but not great as I expected. One thing 11-eyes lack is comedy. It has "funny" scenes but for me it's not funny. It is enjoyable for the fights and all but I don't really enjoy much due to the lack of comedy theme in this anime. But, it still a way to go for this anime! A lot of people say it's nice.

A short synopsis:
"After losing his sister five years ago, Satsuki Kakeru led a vacant life, only able to return to his normal days with help from his childhood friend Minase Yuka and other friends at school.

Suddenly one day, the sky turns red and the moon turns black. Everyone besides Kakeru and Yuka disappears and monsters start roaming the streets. CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

There still around 2 to 3 weeks time for preparation for this festival. I got my brand new Nike shoes thanks to bro and sis!! However, the hard time for CNY preparation is yet to come. I have to do the following chores(while learning car) before CNY:
= Paint the wall of my car poach
= Clean all mahjong tiles
= Paint my brother's room due to cellophane tape's trace
= Hang Tanglong (actually I'm the spectator LOL)

ETC.

So, let me end my blog here so that I can go back to work!

Omg! I am so new to blogging! What should I do now? Alright, let me calm down and write down what I should do after the SPM exam.

1. Finish Last Remnant before CNY with 100% or near completion.
2. Play Maple again with gly, kym, tze, joe and emily.
3. Active again in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and train Lance + Gunlance!
4. Learn how to drive a car. If not...

5. Watch movies that I missed if possible! Like Dark Knight! T_T
6. Play a lot of games in my new PC!!! =D

7. Start typing nonsense in this blog.
8. Try to find a part time job if possible.

9. Watch tons of anime!!!!!!!
10. Mousehunt in Facebook!

11. Organize a Monster Hunter Freedom Unite LAN party.
12. Go on a diet and exercise!

13. Writing a Not-Real-Totally-Fantasy-Fiction Story
14. Nothing.

Those are some of the plans I made to do in my freedom BEFORE my NS(National Service). Thats all for my first post. Want to know more about me? Then... Maybe later cause I'm very busy.
